Welcome to the new world of Moss (mostly called SharePoint Office Service 2007).
Needless to say there is a lot of content management type of functionality built into Moss. Designing and Organizing this content can quickly get confusing and just plain annoying. But, like all things that suffer from its own vast flexibility, there are resources to help.
Patience and Practice are the keys to being successful with a complex tool such as Moss. If you get yourself into a corner, slow down and try to back out the changes you don’t like, and before you get too far along…stop…ask ask for help. The is a lot of good information on Moss on the internet and there are a lot of people who know this system. Ask for help before you go off the Deep end.
